About Us
Initially during the 90s, the alumni of Govani hostel created an informal group which aimed towards contributing for the betterment of communities and societies. Thereafter, other keen friends and well-wishers joined the group for contributing their part. In the 20s, the group became a formal trust registered under the name of ‘Quality Circle Charitable Trust’.
Quality Circle mainly works for education aid, support for employment, heath and hygiene awareness, fulfilling basic necessities of families in need and literature, art, music and culture acknowledgement and appreciation.
The contributors of quality circle are devoted to donate and volunteer for the activities taking place. Everyone works for the same cause from the same level, without any designation or position. Quality circle believes in asking for contributions only as much required for their projects and activities. Quality circle collaborates with individuals and groups with similar goals and mindset to be able to reach and impact more needful individuals.
The full stop in the quality circle logo, itself symbolises that quality circle tries to be a one stop solution for every requirement. The trust is happy to help directly or indirectly by showing path towards the solution.
Our Projects
— Educare
We believe that education is the key to meaningful life and thus we aim to prevent underprivileged students’ education from stopping due to financial issues. For the same, we have been financially helping 101 students each year in need for their education.
Our contributors contribute Rs.9000 for each 101 students’ school fees, hostel fees or any other education aid. Generally, the contributions for this project are collected during the 9 days of Navratri, personifying its true essence.You may also gain the joy of giving by contributing Rs.9000 per student for a year from the contribution window.

In today’s world of technology and social media, book reading has been reduced.We believe to make families start reading again. Reading is not just about the direct gain of information. It is something that radiates wisdom, understanding, ability to think and moulds a human into a cognitively, socially as well as emotionally aware individual. Exactly for that, quality circle has curated a set of 12 books applicable for all ages and are of different authors and genres. Families buy and read these 12 books for the 12 months in a year, inculcating reading back in their lifestyle. Harmony and discussion is also improved amongst the family members while reading.
We also aim towards literature fostering. For now, all the books are in Gujarati language, parallelly trying to encourage mother tongue reading in families.Every year, From Ganesh Chaturthi, the book sets are crafted and 500 such sets (6000 books) are distributed on a highly discounted price, on first come first serve basis with monetary support from KPSNA USA.
— Jivan Utsav
Jivan Utsav is for Awareness, Acknowledgement and Appreciation of Art. Our main idea is to bring arts like dance, drama and music to the audience, such that they become aware, start to acknowledge and learn to appreciate them, creating a purposeful entertainment for them. We strongly believe to inculcate an interest and sense of art in individuals, which would stay besides them through thick and thin, throughout their life. For which, once or twice a year, Quality Circle organises events of dance, drama, music and broadways, broadening the society’s view of arts.
Quality circle believes in quality events with quality audience and exemplary artists with qualified sense of art. We are happy to accept sponsorships from organisations or individual for such events.
— Lecture and Talks
Learning from the learned is what makes a huge difference. Gaining insights from profound and experienced individuals helps to shape one’s decisions and thinking greatly. Enrichment through experience and expertise of particular field from experts, is what Quality Circle aims at. Once in a while, lectures, talks and reviews of learned individuals in any given field of their expertise are organised, in order to spread their wisdom to others.

— Health and Hygiene
Compassion is something that comes from practice and not books. A sense of giving, connection with human beings and empathy should be reflected from the family to the children, right from childhood. To play our role for the same, we initiated a project surrounding heath and hygiene of individuals, which is managed and handled by the today’s youth in our Quality Circle. Sanitary pads are distributed and made aware about them to girls in need. Rs.700 for one girl for her entire year’s requirements, is contributed by the contributors. Till now, we have distributed sanitary pads to around 300 girls impacting their health immensely.
We believe that even a small contribution can make a huge difference and thus for this project, we invite the youth and current generation to contribute from their pocket money. Helping in this movement of spreading awareness of health, hygiene and sanitation, along with providing the needful.
